The event kicks off on Friday with gates opening at 4 p.m. for a practice round, allowing riders to get a feel for the track. Early practice sign-up from 5-7 p.m. ensures a smooth start to the day. Saturday brings a full day of activities, with gates opening at 7 a.m. and a prepped practice from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Early race sign-up from 2-5 p.m. allows riders to secure their spot.
The cost is $35 per class/per rider, and AMA Membership is mandatory. Saturday's highlights include a two-stroke bike show and holeshot challenge at 6:30 p.m., presented by Reekers Mods of Fort Dodge. This will feature a 125cc and open division, adding an extra layer of excitement.
Sunday is the main event, with gates opening at 6 a.m. and sign-up at 6:30 a.m. Practice starts at 8 a.m., followed by the races. All classes have a $40 entry fee, and the Open A/250 A division offers a generous 200 percent payback.
Gate fees vary, with early arrival on Friday costing $20, $20 for Saturday, and $15 for Sunday. Kids 4 and under are admitted free. A pit vehicle fee of $20 applies to those 18 and older, and play riding is prohibited. Minor release forms are required for documentation.
Sponsored by RJ Powersports of Fort Dodge, this event has a rich history, with last year's Spring Classic Motocross Advancement Class winners including Mason Kerr, Austin Powers, and Joe Perron. The Non-Advancement Class champions were Braden Banks, Challen McKinney, and Knox Palmer, among others.
